Terms and Conditions

Reservation
In order to make a reservation with Avan Rentals Ltd a deposit is required. The deposit amount is depending on the hire but this will be a minimum of NZ$40 during the winter season (April - Sept) and a minimum of NZ$80 during the summer season (Oct - March).

Insurance
All our prices include GST, unlimited kilometres and a full comprehensive insurance.

Payment
We accept all major credit cards including: Visa, MasterCard and BankCard.

Daily Rates Each day is a 24 hour Period. Please note that late returns are charged accordingly.

Petrol
All vehicles are supplied with a full tank. All vehicles must be returned from hire with a full tank. The vehicle will be filled at the hirer's cost with an added surcharge should the vehicle be returned unfilled at the end of a hire.

License Requirements
Current New Zealand, International Licenses (or English written) and International Driving Permits are accepted.

Airport Service
We operate a friendly "Meet & Greet" service at New Zealand Airports.  Free airport-accomodation pick up is also available.

Cancellation and Refunds After our confirmation of your reservation:
A minimum fee of NZ$25 applies to changes / modifications
A minimum fee of NZ$80 apply to all car cancellations
No show on pick up date incurs NZ$80 cancellation fee
No refunds are given on unused days (early returns).
